From Coder to Product Leader

I wrote my first desktop application at 14 and never stopped coding since. That early passion led me through Software Engineering studies in Belgrade, into professional development during university, and eventually to founding my own company and first startup, Zakaži Tehnički.

Over time, I learned that developing a successful app isn't just about clean code. It's about understanding users, creating good experiences, and sustainable businesses. Through years of trial, error, and learning, I went from writing code alone to leading teams, managing products, and helping other founders grow their companies.

Today, as the founder and CEO of DedalDev, I lead a team that has delivered over 15 successful apps for startups, SMEs, and blockchain companies. Along the way, I co founded a startup called Zakaži Tehnički, a platform for scheduling vehicle inspections, which we grew and successfully sold. I also helped raise a pre seed round for another venture, giving me first hand experience in what investors look for and how to gain traction early.

Credibility Built on Experience

In 2024, I took the stage at three tech conferences to share what I've learned, including a case study talk at Digitalk Niš 2024 where I presented how we developed and launched Pričaj Mi, a mobile audio app for children. That app went on to be recognized among PC Press's Top 50 digital projects of 2024, a proud validation that our approach to quality content and user centric design made an impact.

What truly defines my approach is realism and hard won insight. I've made many mistakes, and I strive not to make the same one twice, and each lesson has made me a stronger leader. I've learned how to lead cross functional teams of developers, designers, and marketers, guiding them through product discovery workshops and intense development sprints. I know what it takes to scale a digital product from a handful of users to tens of thousands, all while keeping the infrastructure solid and the user base growing.

I've also been a regular presence at global tech events like Web Summit, where I've showcased two of my startups to the world. These experiences, from pitching on stage to demoing at a bustling expo booth, have taught me how to communicate vision and value to any audience, whether it's developers, customers, or investors.

On a personal note, this journey has also taught me perseverance and balance. As a founder who's also a husband and father, I understand the human side of entrepreneurship. The 24/7 hustle, the excitement of wins, and the stresses of setbacks. These experiences fuel my passion to help others navigate the tech business labyrinth. I'm here to share honest advice, practical strategies, and a bit of hard earned wisdom to help you avoid the costly missteps I've seen and made along the way.

How I Work and What I Believe In

I believe that great products are created by small, focused teams who move fast and care deeply about the details. My way of working is simple and practical. I listen carefully, map out the real problems, and then work with the team to create solutions that make sense both technically and for the business.

I don't believe in endless buzzwords or long pitch decks. I believe in creating things that work, testing them with real users, and learning quickly. Over the years, this mindset has helped me work with founders, startups, and companies in a way that brings real progress, not just ideas on paper.

I also care about the human side of creating products. Working together should feel clear, respectful, and focused. I like honest conversations, clear goals, and meaningful results.

If this sounds like the kind of collaboration you're looking for, let's talk and see what we can create together.
